04/24/2004     AIA 2004 Merit Design Award Winner
The American Institute of Architects Houston recognized the METRO Light Rail Stations, Line Section 4 Project, with a Merit Award.

Natex Architects received the 2004 Merit Design Award for the Urban Design, Architecture and Landscape Design of 1.2 miles of Main Street including three light rail stations in Midtown.

"The sensitivity of these designs to their neighborhoods validates the concept expressed in the prototype. Excellent execution of an excellent idea."

The University of Houston held an Open House in order to spotlight the renovations made to the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.

NATEX Architects received a Certificate of Appreciation from the University of Houston for its role in the completion of the A.D. Bruce Religion Center Renovations.

02/03/2003     Weitzman nominated to Board of Directors

M. Carolina Weitzman, AIA, President and CEO of NATEX Corporation Architects, has been named to the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is a local association founded in 1976 devoted to the advancement and promotion of Hispanic Businesses in the Houston area.

Following a nomination from Houston Mayor Lee Brown, Weitzman also serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Zoo and the Houston Racing Commission.
